Team100 expanded to 200 athletes!

Now, the number is 200, sportsmen and women, including some with disabilities. The aim of team100 is financial support for young, promising athletes who will represent Poland on the international arena. The Conference was attended by the Minister of Sport and Tourism – Witold Bańka, who emphasized the important role of the program. The Polish National Foundation was represented by its President - Cezary Andrzej Jurkiewicz. At the end of the event, a few words were said by the Director of the Institute of sport – the National Institute of Research-Urszula Włodarczyk. Representatives of the athletes also spoke. Thanks to the beneficiaries of the program in 2017, The Polish National Anthem was played 22 times around the world. The beneficiaries of the program in the past year, won 98 medals, of which 22 were gold. Other success worth mentioning were, 23 athletic medals, canoeing- 15 medals and wrestlers- 11 medals.
